Job Description: As a member of an interdisciplinary team, providing holistic care to residents requiring nursing assessment, care planning, nursing interventions, wound care interventions with Dietitian, medication reviews, conducting clinical audits and admission assessments. Collaborating with staff, families and Physicians to ensure high standards of quality of life for our residents. Being proactive with anticipating care needs, including the involvement of community resources when required. Working simultaneously with all care members of the interdisciplinary team and resident family members to provide direction and education in order to assure the best possible outcome for the residents.
Eligibility / Qualifications: Graduation from an approved school of nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Registered Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M). Valid First Aid Certificate, holistic experience within the nursing profession, a knowledge base with Geriatric Nursing and a solid foundation of medication administration. Electronic charting experience preferably on Point Click Care and E-Mar, PIECES training and Wound Care certification preferred.Application Submission:
