Park Place Seniors Living manages a network of senior care homes throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Our mission is to deliver outstanding care and service to both our residents and their families.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to become part of our team. This position, reporting to the Controllers, is essential in assisting with finance operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and various administrative duties.Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently process a large volume of vendor invoices and payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding accounts
  • Prepare and issue monthly rent invoices while applying and tracking incoming payments
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Collaborate with site administrators to support banking functions
  • Maintain and organize financial filing systems
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and perform other administrative duties as needed
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadline
  • Works independently and takes initiative
  • Customer service focused
  • Experience in accounts payable and receivable
  • Creative problem solver with process improvement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate/advanced)
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in property management, real estate development, or healthcare is an asset
  • Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems is an asset
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada or hold a valid work permit
  • Must pass Criminal Records Check & provide 2 references
