Are you a Registered Dietician who is passionate about improving quality of life for older adults? Mill Lake Seniors Community is seeking a Dietician (0.4 FTE) to support resident nutrition, clinical care, and dietary programs in our long-term care community in Abbotsford.
This is a part-time opportunity (approximately 15 hours per week) offering flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative care environment.

What You’ll Do
As the Dietician, you will play a key role in clinical nutrition and resident wellbeing by:
- Completing nutritional assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Monitoring nutritional status, weight changes, and therapeutic diets
- Collaborating with nursing, dietary, and interdisciplinary teams
- Supporting menu planning to meet clinical, cultural, and regulatory requirements
- Providing guidance related to dysphagia diets, texture modification, and supplements
- Supporting compliance with Long-Term Care and accreditation standards
- Educating staff and contributing to quality improvement initiatives as needed
What You Bring
- Registered Dietician status with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
- Experience in Long-Term Care, seniors’ care, or healthcare settings (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of geriatric nutrition and therapeutic diets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Compassion, professionalism, and a resident‑first mindset
